When God Speaks

When God speaks to our hearts, we must listen.

When I decided to make a blog, it was more than a feeling it was like God was calling me toward something greater than myself.

This past December, I was messing around trying to come up with a name for my blog. For weeks I had nothing, then I began typing my story and how God saved me in my darkest times on my laptop. In that moment, I felt God place the name of my blog on my heart, Finding Your Purpose. But I had no idea it was only half of the name God had in mind for my blog.

The day that I made my blog I was so excited, because I already knew the name I was going to use. I typed in Finding Your Purpose, and apparently someone else was already using that title and I started to freak out. I started to ask God what I needed to do, while trying to find another name for my blog.

That's when everything got so much better. While I was worrying, God already knew the name I needed to use. That's when God placed the word fulfill on my heart, and I couldn't get over how much meaning and power that word held and that's when I knew in my heart what I needed to call my blog.

I typed in Finding Your Purpose and Fulfilling It, and thankfully no one else was already using that name. In that moment, my heart was filled with so much happiness.

Message to my readers:

It's very important that we listen to God when He is speaking to us. It can be about some of the simplest things, like me trying to find the name for my blog. To God it doesn't matter what it is, when He is calling you towards something He means business. He has an amazing plan for each of us, and we are all destined for greatness.
